Drawa National Park

The park is part of the Drawa ancient forest. The landscape of the park was shaped by a glacier and its melting water during the ice age. The River Drawa, 40 km of which flows through the park, forms impressive gorges and valleys all along its banks.

During an expedition along signposted trails, hikers and bicyclists will discover the authentic beauty of the national park, its abundant flora and fauna (150 bird species, 40 mammal species, 30 fish species and 1 000 different plant species) as well as the characteristic raised bog by the Plociczna.

The stunning centuries-old oaks and beech trees are under special protection. The park is visited by tourists with increasing frequence, most of all by those who love canoeing.
